Jeffrey A. Bader (born 1945) is senior director for Asian affairs on the National Security Council in the Obama Administration[1][2] and a former United States Ambassador to Namibia.[3]

Career

Bader retired from foreign service in 2002 and later joined the Brookings Institution, where he was director of John L. Thornton China Center.[4][5] In 2009, he was appointed senior director for Asian affairs on the National Security Council under the Obama Administration.
